About the wine
We have a special, fresh Tempranillo from 2011 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery El Coto de Rioja masters this red wine in the fertile and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Tempranillo with barbecue or lasagna.
Tasting note
“Color: Dense ruby red with a deep, black core, distinctive viscosity. Aromatics: Dense, complex and ripe and fruity on the bouquet, subtly mushroom, warm roasted aromas alternating with a fine spiciness. Body: Elegant, soft and opulent on the palate, distinctive, fruit-sweet palate aromas, well-integrated, silky soft tannins, present, long-lasting in the aftertaste. Quality: A “generational wine.”
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with creamy porcini risotto with manchego, saffron risotto with saltimbocca, grilled ostrich fillet, warm tapas variations, aged hard cheese.
