About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta de Soalheiro has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the sunny landscape in Vinho Verde. You will certainly have a lot of fun with the first-class Das isch Läbe Weiss BIO, which was produced in 2016.

Tasting note
Intense color, full and velvety aroma, complex on the palate and with vibrant vegetable notes in the finish. The harvest took place early (12.5% vol.) and the wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation in chestnut wood barriques, the traditional barrels of the Minho region.

Unsere Empfehlung: Der Weisswein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 8°-10°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die empfohlene Genussphase dieses Weins: 3-5 Jahren.
Vinification
The grapes from organic farming, in which we protect the vineyard ecosystem and promote biodiversity and sustainability, are harvested by hand in our vineyards on Quinta de Soalheiro. The microclimate that influences the cultivation of Alvarinho grapes is very special. Melgaço is the northernmost region in Portugal and is shielded by mountain ranges. This enables a perfect interplay between precipitation, temperature and the hours of sunshine necessary for the Alvarinho grapes to ripen optimally.
