About the wine
With the powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 — Fonbel Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, you can offer your family and friends something very special. The gravelly soils north and east of the Gironde and Dordogne form the breeding ground for this Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker from the French winery Château de Fonbel knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Tasting note
The playful fragrance spectrum of the Fonbel Saint-Emilion Grand Cru of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape its individual texture. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless quality. This top wine was awarded with: Wine Advocate: 85/100.
Culinary recommendation
