About the wine
The characterful Augusta Rosé cuvée from Leos combines the fine structure of grenache, the fullness of bourboulenc and the fresh finish of Vermentino in perfect balance. This elegant organic rosé with floral notes refreshes and surprises with its remarkable richness. Ideal as an aperitif or accompaniment to food, it impresses with its character and long finish. Its origins in the natural freshness of Ventoux, the precise aromas of the Luberon and the richness of the Alpilles give it a unique refinement. Awarded 91 out of 100 points by Decanter.
Bio
Tasting note
The pale color “rose petal” provides a beautiful shine. The first nose is seductive, with very floral notes and white-fleshed fruit. The mouth is full-bodied with lots of roundness. The attack is open, a fine length in the mouth is established and leaves a nice aromatic persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tomato salad, ceviche or beef carpaccio, with most Mediterranean dishes and especially with white meat and seafood. And at the end of a meal, it goes very well with goat cheese
