About the wine
Picturesque and blooming landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Alois Lageder conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the delicious Pinot grigio Alto Adige DOC, which was produced in 2017, you will definitely have a lot of fun.
Tasting note
Light straw yellow with reddish tinge - typical Pinot Grigio. Very floral on the nose, accompanied by ripe peaches and melons. Appetizing dry on the palate with playful, refreshing acidity. Medium-weight body, again aromas of ripe, white fruit and some honey. Balanced and of medium length on the aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with chicken dishes or asparagus risotto.
Vinification
PINOT GRIGIO grapes come from selected locations in Margreid and Salorno. The vines are between 15 and 40 years old. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on fine yeasts for four months.
