About the wine
You will certainly enjoy the delicious Aagne Pinot Noir Barrique AOC Schaffhausen, which was produced in 2012. The wine-growing regions of the Stefan Gysel winery stretch across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine.
Tasting note
A rich ruby. Ripe berry fruit with aromas of trees and black cherries. Roast flavors and dark chocolate accompany the fruit aromas. The palate is well structured with fine-grained tannins, a fine acidity, rich with a persistent, soft finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with air-dried meat, beef, veal, lamb, game and grilled meat, etc
Vinification
Strong yield regulation, late harvest, maceration period before and after fermentation, temperature-controlled, intensive mash fermentation, with BSA (biological acid degradation), maturation in barrique from 1st to 3rd filling for 12-14 mt, subsequent filtration, filling after 20-22 mt. expansion.
