Tasting note
Light greenish yellow. On the nose, notes of lime, green melon and apple. On the palate, with aromas of pear, guava, peach and a hint of vanilla. Very fresh, with a present acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with an aperitif or fried prawns with salad.
Vinification
Andrew Frei, who emigrated from Switzerland, laid the foundation stone of the successful history of Frei Brothers in California with his first vineyard in 1890. In Sonoma County, winemaker Scott Johnsen creates wines full of character with a clear profile in harmony with nature. www.freibrothers.com
