Chardonnay
A very fine Chardonnay of a sun-yellow color shimmers in the glass here. On the nose, you have smells of toasted bread, vanilla and ripe yellow fruits. On the palate, there are aromas of lemon cake, banana and pear. The finish is very delicate and pleasant.
Goes well with French-inspired broth with fresh herbs.
The Chardonnay la Villette is fermented in barrique, 10 to 12 days of fermentation in French and American oak barrels. This is followed by a barrel ageing on the lees for 6 months!
