About the wine

If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this discreet Viognier 2017 — Condrieu AC Les Cassines. The winemaker from the French winery Paul Jaboulet Aîné greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This viognier is excellent to serve with potatoes or roasted poultry in lemon sauce.

Intense nose of ripe apricots and floral notes. Soft, very creamy start, good freshness with nice balance, concentrated and melty with a long aromatic finish.
Goes well with charcuterie and seafood.
Hand picking, whole grape pressing, fermentation in steel tanks, concrete eggs and French oak barrels. After that, maturation for 8 months in the fermentation vats.
