About the wine
To get a feel for the mountainous and hilly landscape aesthetics of Valais, there is no way around this white wine, which the Swiss winery Adrian Mathier masters with a keen sense of texture. Give yourself joy for the senses with the fine Ambassadeur Fume Blanc Gros Rhin de Chamoson AOC from 2016!
Tasting note
The bouquet has a fine woody note and is very fruity. It impresses with its long, intense finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with vegetarian dishes, saltwater fish, shellfish and poultry.
Vinification
After five years of experimentation, it was possible to specially vinify this white wine. The Ambassadeur Fumé macerates on the chilled mash. It extracts valuable aromas and structure from the berry skin before fermentation begins. It is then pressed, fermented in new barriques and aged on the lees. It achieves its optimal ripeness by aging it in barriques for six to nine months.
