Beautiful and picturesque landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Frontaura y Victoria conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this present Tempranillo 2008 — Aponte Plus Winemaker’s Private Collection Toro DO, wooden box. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Tempranillo is ideal to be served with red meat or lasagna.

Tasting note
Color: Dark garnet color with purple reflections. Aroma: Floral and spicy bouquet. Intense notes of red fruits, tobacco, roasted coffee and a hint of chocolate. Character: Full-bodied and complex on the palate, wonderfully harmonious tannins round off the long-lasting finish. A sensual and expressive Tempranillo in the highest perfection.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with feasts, Sunday roasts, grilled meats, game or simply to enjoy.
Vinification
Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels.
