About the wine
The Ricasolis were the first noble family to grow wine in Tuscany. To this day, the noble clan is also one of the most successful producers in the region. Baron Bettino Ricasoli is also considered the inventor of the Chianti Classico recipe, as it still exists today.
Tasting note
Ruby red color. On the nose, notes of berries, spices and vanilla. Soft and sweet on the palate. Good acidity and elegant tannins. Pleasant and balanced on the long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, charcuterie, pork and veal.
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 24-27°C. The skin maceration lasted 14-16 days. 18 months in Tonneaux, which are one or two years old (first and second occupancy).
