About the wine
Dedicated to Calidonia Sergardi, who married Girolamo Bindi and thus created the indissoluble bond between the two families. This wine is a sign of gratitude to the past and to the people who created the roots of the Bindi Sergardi family.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red color. Fruity and floral notes together with notes of spices and incense. Soft, elegant and well-structured Complexity, grace and velvety tannins are the result of a careful selection of Sangiovese grapes from a soil rich in Galestro and Alberese. The wine is lively and has a persistent aftertaste. It is an excellent expression of the Mocenni terroir and the Chianti Classico Riserva.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with traditional side dishes, red meats (both fried and pickled), game and aged cheeses.
Vinification
After a careful and precise selection of the grapes, the hand-picked grapes were destemmed and gently squeezed. The fermentation of the Sangiovese grapes took place in stainless steel tanks, where the maceration took about 18/20 days at a controlled temperature of 28/30°C. Immediately after alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to 42hl oak barrels and then bottled in the winery.
