About the wine
This Chardonnay gets its power and energy from the calcareous, loamy soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery La Chablisienne turns it into a real treat with a lot of emotion. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with soft cheese or goat cheese.

Tasting note
Light yellow; delicate bouquet with wonderful floral notes, fine vanilla tones and yellow stone fruits. Round start, well-supporting acid structure, aromatic center with complex fruit aromas and subtle vanilla nuances. The ongoing finale shows the class of this excellent Chablis.
Culinary recommendation
High-quality aperitif wine; excellent with oysters and shellfish and a classic with seafood salad.
Vinification
The grapes from the vines, which are on average 25 years old, are harvested at optimal ripeness. The must then remains in contact with the skins for a short period of time in order to achieve an increased abundance of aromas. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in traditional wooden barrels. Further aging on fine yeast takes place for 15 months in wooden barrels and stainless steel containers.
