About the wine
The loamy, skewed soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Louis Latour knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. This powerful Chardonnay 2014 — Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc AC is in the truest sense of the word a hit right down to the last drop! The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with soft cheese or goat cheese.

Tasting note
The Chassagne Montrachet shines attractively pale gold in the glass. On the nose, the scent of orchard and exotic fruits, accompanied by soft notes of roasted hazelnuts and vanilla. Rich on the palate with fresh almonds and a mineral finish. A beautifully structured wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, seafood, charcuterie, soft cheeses.
Vinification
Hand harvest. The wine is aged for eight to ten months in oak barrels specially made by the Louis Latour coopers, with complete malolactic fermentation.
