About the wine

The Château Le Peuy Saincrit covers 12 hectares on the right bank of the Garonne. It is located on one of the Camino de Santiago trails. The vineyards, which are completely interconnected, are all located on the 45th parallel. The Château Le Peuy Saincrit is located on the Coteau de Montalon, the highest point in the appellation. The natural conditions here are particularly favourable: the vineyards face south, which protects the vines, which virtually completely protects the vines from poor climatic conditions. A significant part of the vineyard consists of old vines. These are embedded in stony slopes, which are covered by a thin clay and calcareous layer. All requirements for high-quality wines are met here.
