About the wine
The Petite Arvine is responsible for the nice freshness and the slight saltiness. The Pinot Blanc gives it a touch of exotic fruit. The Pinot Gris gives the Cuvée Madame Rosmarie Mathier its full-bodiedness and is responsible for the slight residual sweetness. The Sylvaner gives it its longevity.
Tasting note
Die Cuvée Madame Rosmarie Mathier weiss besticht mit einer schönen Frische und viel Aromatik, für welche der Petite Arvine verantwortlich ist. Der Pinot Blanc verleiht ihr einen Hauch von exotischen Früchten. Der Pinot Gris gibt dem exzellenten Wein seine Vollmundigkeit, während ihr der Sylvaner die Langlebigkeit verleiht. Mit einer schönen Säure stärkt der Heida das Rückgrat der Cuvée.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with vegetarian dishes, saltwater fish, Shellfish, poultry, Asian dishes and aperitif.
Vinification
Abgebeertes Traubengut. Jede Sorte wird einzeln ausgebaut. Die Assemblage wird nach der ursprünglichen Kreation von Rosmarie Mathier verheiratet. Auch wenn Rosmarie heute hierfür selber nicht mehr federführend ist, hat sie doch auf Lebzeiten ein Vetorecht, wenn es um ihre Cuvée geht.
