About the wine
El Camí is a small, winding dirt road that runs through the Bell Cros vineyards. It was of great local importance during the Spanish Civil War of 1936-39, when wine production in Spain almost came to a standstill. Two houses (masias), which still stand on the street today, played an important role as a hospital and restaurant during the war.
Tasting note
Medium-high color intensity with bluish tones on a red background. The nose shows fresh black fruits such as plums and blueberries, accompanied by floral notes such as violets and a touch of Mediterranean herbs. Fresh on the palate, with fine, inviting tannins. Easy and delicious to drink with a long aftertaste
Culinary recommendation
It is ideal with white or red meat, pasta, rice and vegetables.
Vinification
The wine was fermented on the mash for 29 days and underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It then aged 20% for six months in oak barrels and 80% in stainless steel tanks — a combination that harmoniously combines freshness and structure.
