About the wine

Tasting note
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense, complex bouquet with notes of dog rose, wild berries, sour cherries and currants, with light spicy notes. Fresh, balanced taste, with an elegant spicy finish, in which pleasantly fruity and balsamic notes contrast.
Culinary recommendation
Suitable with fish soup or white and red meat.
Vinification
Maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 26°C for 21 days with pumping and pressing. Ageing: After blending, the wine remains in stainless steel tanks for 12 months. Before sale, maturation in bottle for four months. With a balanced component of sand, silt and clay, a high proportion of stones and a wealth of iron minerals, the Rigoloccio estate's soil is perfect for viticulture. The location of the plants in the pre-hill area between 40 and 100 meters benefits from the mild effect of the proximity to the sea and the constant exposure to the sun. The temperature difference between day and night, which gives the wines their fragrance notes, is remarkable.
