Tasting note

The fruity bouquet of Hacienda Monasterio Tinto Cosecha DO of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows complex aroma and lots of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless texture.

Culinary recommendation

Goes well with grilled meats, roasts, game, spicy cheeses.

Vinification

The grapes are strictly selected and completely destemmed. This is followed by a week of cold maceration and then fermentation with natural yeasts in steel tanks. The wine is aged for 17 months in French oak barrels (15% new wood and 85% used)
