About the wine
You can describe the landscape in Lower Austria with words such as hilly or mountainous. However, the Austrian winery F. Pichler is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! With this dominant Grüner Veltliner 2015 — Kollmitz, Gruner Veltliner Smaragd, ea, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Grüner Veltliner with paella or risotto.

Tasting note
It is powerful, complex and elegant. On the palate, it is juicy and creamy, accompanied by fine notes of yellow dried fruit and quince jelly. The lively, harmonious mineral acidity gives it freshness. A wine with impressive depth and long aftertaste — a Wachauer Grüner Veltliner par excellence!

Goes well with light fish dishes, seafood, poultry or Asian cuisine.

The grapes come from Ried Kollmitz, one of the best locations in the Wachau region. The expansion is traditionally carried out in steel tanks
