About the wine
The winemaker from the Bodegas Alvaro Palacios winery greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this provocative Grenache 2008 — L'Ermita Tinto Cosecha DOC! The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this grenache with spicy food or red meat.
Tasting note
Álvaro Palacios' cult wine, which made him a star winemaker. In the heart of the Priory lies this magnificent 1.44 hectare amphitheatre whose Garnacha vines were planted in 1939. The location is a “Gran Vinya Classificada” in the Burgundian sense of a Grand Cru. The steep slopes with green slate, granite and sandstone face north and east. L'Ermita is the essence of this magical terroir, an indescribable pleasure experience.
