About the wine
With the fresh Tempranillo 2020 — La Hoya, nuances and accents are redefined. Picturesque and fertile landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Tempranillo with pizza or red meat.
Bio
Tasting note
The characterful Tempranillo smells of anise and mint, stone fruit, fresh tobacco and white pepper. On the palate, it is dark fruity, spicy and beautifully structured with very silky, subtle tannins, full-bodied and with an elegant aftertaste. In short: a finesse, elegant yet spirited Tempranillo experience that will definitely appeal to Burgundy fans too!
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with grilled beef, rack of lamb, game dishes or aged Manchego.
Vinification
Handpicked, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, careful aging for approx. 12-14 months in French oak barrels.
