About the wine
This variety is called NEBBIOLO after the Italian word for fog, nebbia, as it ripens later than others when the first autumn mists sweep across the hills.

Tasting note
Lively garnet red, very intense, persistent, ethereal and very distinctive bouquet with hints of wilted roses, some leather, small fruits and scrub. Balanced, strict, dry taste with good body and structure as well as a good aromatic finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with any meal, hearty meat or game.
Vinification
One year in Slavonian oak barrels, then refinement in barriques, then in bottle.
