This opulent blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon shows typical notes of cassis, red wild berries and black elderberry. The palate already shows very soft, integrated tannins and dense aromas of chocolate, light caramel, plums and some white pepper. Terrific wine for immediate enjoyment, as well as for storage. Goes well with any Mediterranean dishes. Inspired by Antonio Manoel de Vilhena, a Portuguese nobleman who was responsible for the construction of the “Fort Manoel” in Malta.
