About the wine
When Hannes Reeh took over his parents' business, he first wanted to clean up a lot. The young man didn't like all the “bells and whistles” about wine — he wanted simple, honest wines. They should be like good rock music: unfiltered, but with a sense of tact.

Tasting note
Ripe aromas of dark berries, plum roast, wild herbs and spices, underpinned with a creamy nougat touch. Round on the palate, with fine extract sweetness, good supporting acidity, fine tobacco wood notes and prominent tannins.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to dark meat, such as grilled rib-eye, braised ox cheeks or a variety of game dishes.
