About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this powerful Chardonnay — Montagny 1er Cru AC. This Chardonnay draws its strength and energy from the loamy, shale soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Louis Latour transforms it into a real treat with great sensitivity. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Chardonnay with fish with herbs or soft cheese.
Tasting note
Montagny 1er Cru shows delicious floral aromas of honeysuckle. On the palate, notes of apricot, almond and pepper. The aftertaste is fresh and slightly minty.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with asparagus dishes, poultry, light dishes, fish and cheese.
Vinification
Vinification at controlled temperature in steel tanks. Ageing for 8-10 months, also in steel tanks.
