About the wine
Fertile and sunny landscapes of the Coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Fleur du Cap conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the fine Pinotage Essence du Cap from 2016, you will positively surprise your guests.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red with purple edge. On the nose, fine aromas of prunes and dried fruits with a hint of vanilla. Full body with a taste of ripe plum and good spine
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roast chicken, lamb and pork. It also goes well with South African cuisine, as well as curries and spicy Mexican food
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. The juice with the skins is fermented at 28° C. for 4 days. The juice is then removed and fermented dry. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months
