About the wine
With this striking Grenache 2021 — Primo Scuro DOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Mesa has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and fertile landscape of Sardinia. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you serve this grenache with vegetables or red meat.
Tasting note
Ruby red in a glass. On the nose, a good intensity with notes of ripe red fruits, berries and violets. Balanced and full-bodied on the palate with a warm, lingering finish. Excellent structure with soft tannins and a fruity taste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cured meats, grilled meats and semi-soft cheeses.
Vinification
The grape harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. The grapes are macerated for 1 week at 24 - 26 °C and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Ageing in steel tanks.
