Tasting note
The Protos Gran Reserva, made from vines over 60 years old, is presented in a dark, cherry-red robe with a garnet rim. Expressive and complex bouquet with aromas of jam, cocoa and tobacco paired with mineral and slightly smoky notes. Velvety and creamy on the palate with spicy aromas, round tannins and a long-lasting finish. An extremely elegant Gran Reserva with a high aging potential!
Culinary recommendation
Porterhouse and rib-eye steaks, lamb chops and Beef Wellington. Also great with dark chocolate and smoked cheeses.
Vinification
24 months in American and French oak barrels.
