About the wine
The Nicolis company is located in the heart of the classic Valpolicella area. The art of winemaking is passed on in the family like a treasure from generation to generation, together with their own vineyards. The “Classico” wines, which can be drunk relatively young, come from vineyards at the foot of the hills with deep, fertile soil, while the long-aged wines, such as the valuable Amarone and Recioto, come from terraced hillside vineyards, which are kept by “marogne” (dry stone walls). Since 1951, high-quality wines have been produced on approx. 35 ha with great commitment. Happy intuition and entrepreneurial spirit, love for the land and traditions, led to a well-deserved reputation as a high-quality wine producer.
