Tasting note
Black red in the glass, fine blackberry, cassis and plum aromas as well as cocoa and chocolate notes on the nose and, in addition, some dried fruit and smoky aspects on the palate: this characterizes this rich, balanced, fresh wine. The fruit is supported by a rich, soft and harmonious body, surrounded by strong tannins and rounded off by a lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with meat, beef with dark sauces, grilled or fried, and veal with dark sauces.
Vinification
Aging for 24 months in oak barrels at an altitude of 2,200 meters in the Grande Dixence dam.
