Tasting note
The Thorngrove Rhone Blend Rolling River's playful scent spectrum of blackberry, bread and marmalade shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant notes of blackcurrant and chocolate create its individual texture. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, pork, lamb and cheese.
Vinification
Aged for 12 months in French barriques, a third of new wood, partially toasted.
