Enjoy Tuscany

Chianti, is the name of a region in Tuscany, central Italy. But Chianti is also the name of one of the most famous Italian wines. Chianti wine is made from the Sangiovese grape variety, which is also used to make other famous wines such as Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The historic Chianti area was quite small and was only located between the cities of Florence and Siena.

The entire area is grouped under the name Chianti Classico. Accordingly, the wine, which is made from grapes grown in the region and also pressed locally, bears the name Chianti Classico DOCG. DOCG (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin) is the highest Italian quality predicate.
