About the wine

The landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft is mountainous and hilly, whose fascinating expanses don't fit on a poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Irene Grünenfelder ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Pinot Noir is excellent to serve with duck or cheese.

Jeninser Pinot Noir
Beautiful ruby red, powerful on the nose, cassis, ripe cherries, spicy notes, black pepper, rosemary and smoke, radiating great density on the palate, balanced, charming and fine. A carpet of fruit lies on the tongue and slowly spreads through the palate, fine tannins for further storage, long finish with delicate spiciness and lots of fruit. Considered one of the best Grisons wines. Irene Grünenfelder's wines are quite rare and are rightly rated very highly.
Terrines, cold meat platters, not too strong game dishes, grilled fish, mountain cheese
These classic Pinot Noirs are fruity, soft and uncomplicated. They are aged in larger oak barrels up to 1600 liters for ten months.
