About the wine
A Japanese idealist and Tuscan winemaking craft according to organic principles: How long will Bulichella remain a hotly traded insider tip? The Bulichella winery is located just under a kilometer outside the village of Suvereto, and its vineyards border directly on those of Tua Rita. Bulichella is owned by Japanese Miyakawa Hideyuki, who settled in Suvereto with his Italian wife Maria Luisa many years ago and invested in vineyards and wineries for Alessandro Bonaguidi's family. In honor of the owner's wife, who died early, the outstanding single-varietal Merlot was therefore christened “Maria Shizuko”. The extremely likeable Alessandro Bonaguidi cultivates Bulichella according to biodynamic principles and relies on both the traditional Tuscan varieties Sangiovese and Vermentino, as well as the classic Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. You bet that you will hear a lot more about Bulichella and its wines in the future?
