Shiraz Black Guts Barossa
Rich, dense nose of stone fruit, violets, cloves, bacon and fine pepper tones. Silky yet powerful on the palate. Well-integrated oak barrel aromas round off the taste. Long and velvety soft finish.
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal drinking phase for this wine: 4-15 years after the harvest. Flaschenpost team is recommended with roasted vegetables, barbecue and game.
A few words about vinification: Hand picking, then the grapes are gently pressed with a basket press. Fermentation takes place in open fermentation vats, followed by ageing for 30 months in French (25% new) and American (10% new) barriques.
