Casa Rojo has managed to shake up the Spanish wine world. The success story began in 2007, when politician Laura Muñoz and oenologist José Luis Gómez fell in love and shared a dream: a «creative oenology» - a location-independent winery.

They put together a team of oenologists, winegrowers, engineers and designers from all over Spain. Today they offer wines from the best vineyards in the country and have numerous fans - including influential wine critics such as the British Master of Wine Tim Atkin.

They produce one of our absolute favorite wines - the Macho Man. A broad-bodied Spaniard with a soft core that ensnares us with aromas of ripe wild berries. Balsamic notes and a hint of cocoa complete its charm.
