About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Kellerei St-Michael conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this strong white wine 2021 — St. Michael Fallwind Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Chardonnay is ideal to serve with fish with herbs or goat cheese.
Tasting note
Very elegant bouquet with aromas of ripe fruit, pineapple, lemons and very subtle wood. Fresh palate with pleasant fullness and light meltness without being opulent.

Vinification
Manual harvesting and grape selection from early to mid-September. The majority (70%) is fermented in steel tanks, the rest (30%) in wooden barrels followed by biological acid degradation. In February, the two wines are combined.
