The Bordeaux AOC Rouge Dourthe No 1's refreshing bouquet of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape their individual texture. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine presents its flawless texture.
Goes well with dark and light meats (entrecote, tartare, lamb gigot, rabbit, poultry), gratin dauphinois & cheese.
Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 12 months.
