About the wine

Built in the 19th century and opposite the Gioronde, Château Phélan-Ségur is now run by Xavier Gardinier and his three sons. Their wines are powerful, concentrated and balanced. Lots of French refinement - straight from Bordeaux!

Chateau Phelan-Segur St-Estephe AOC
The oak wood is currently still powerful. Blackcurrants, lilacs, violets, fine spices and the youthful freshness support the concentrated body. An excellent wine that gains elegance and fruit over the years.
Goes well with beef, lamb, Mediterranean cuisine and Chateaubriand with Béarnaise sauce.
Aged in barriques for at least 18 months.
