Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage is in the classic tradition of the House of Graham: intense ruby red color, on the nose a lush richness with intense youthful aromas of red fruits and a hint of mint and eucalyptus. Exceptionally powerful and full on the palate with layers of fruit and firm tannins that keep their richness up to a long sweet finish. It can be drunk straight away, but thanks to its body and structure, it will improve for many years to come.
The bottle should stand upright for a few hours. Then carefully remove the cork and slowly decant the wine. Goes well with cheese, nuts or dried fruit after a meal.
Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos is considered one of the best wineries in the Alto Douro Valley and was acquired by the company in 1890. Malvedos, the flagship of House Graham, sits on the steep slopes that surround the small village of Tua. The Quinta and its south-facing wineries on the northern banks of the Douro river are in a privileged location. A very stable climate guarantees that the wineries produce top-quality wines almost every year. In addition to port wine, the Quinta also supplies olive oil and almonds as well as a considerable amount of citrus fruits. The winery borders the Douro for a length of two kilometers, a large area is covered with natural undergrowth
