Intense golden yellow. A beguiling scent of dried apricots, oranges, caramel and some passion fruit. Oily consistency on the palate with elegant sweetness and sensual dried apricot and honey aromas. Long finish with wonderfully juicy acidity.
Delicious with buttery desserts such as crème brûlée and puff pastry tarts, but also goes well with soft cheese.
This sweet wine is produced by a natural drying process of the grapes on the vines. Harvesting does not take place until mid-October. After pressing, the must is slowly fermented at approx. 15 °C to achieve an alcohol content of 14 to 15% by volume. Some of the young wine is aged for one year in French oak barriques. The bottle rest follows for further maturation.
