40 Years Old Tawny
The oldest tawny from Butler Nephew and only available in very small quantities. On the nose, this port wine is rich and complex, with aromas of dried fruits, nuts and caramel, as well as some hints of vanilla and honey. The palate is full-bodied, sweet and supple. A delicate port wine with exceptional balance and harmony.
Goes well with cheese, chocolate, cigar, desserts or simply as a meditation wine.
Tawny Port, especially at such an old age, is made from premium blends of wines sourced from the best vineyards and aged for years in barrels. Only the best tawny blends are selected to stay in oak barrels for many years.
