Elvio Cogno is one of those winemaking legends who raised Barolo and its Nebbiolo wines to today's level. However, his son-in-law Valter Fissore not only manages his inheritance, but also draws attention to himself with a keen sense of finesse wines. One of the house's top wines comes from the Nas-Cetta, an autochthonous grape variety that is now grown by very few producers. Walter Fissore and Nadia Cogno, Elvio's daughter, rely fully on them and shine with an independent, dry-spicy white wine with nuances of acacia honey and rosemary.
