About the wine
Picturesque and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Deltetto conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. A must for connoisseurs, this biting red wine 2014 — Barbera d'Alba Brame DOC! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Barbera with strong, dark meat or stews.
Tasting note
The Barbera Bramé impresses with a dense ruby red and violet reflections. A fresh scent of cherries and vanilla, typical of the variety. On the palate, it shines with its structure and pleasant freshness. A soft, juicy plant with a remarkable abundance.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for antipasti, strong, dark meat and stews.
Vinification
The Barbera Bramé comes from an old cru location in the municipality of Castellinaldo, facing southwest. After traditional maceration for 7 days at 28°C, 20 percent of the wine is aged in used barriques and the rest in large oak barrels.
