About the wine

A must for connoisseurs, this provocative red wine 2014 — Zweigelt Tregrande! You can describe nature with such words as mountainous. However, the Austrian Weingut Leth is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Zweigelt is great with boiled beef or roast beef.

Tasting note
Deep ruby with violet reflections. Blueberries, cherries and blackberries on the nose, softly underpinned by oak flair. Rich and juicy on the palate, powerful tannin, many facets and good length. Can occasionally contain a small proportion of statures and cabernet to support the main grape variety Zweigelt.
Culinary recommendation
It goes great with game, steaks and all other types of dark meat.
Vinification
Aged for 9 to 12 months in used barriques
