About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this provocative white wine 2017 — Branu Vermentino di Gallura DOCG. The winemaker from the Italian winery Vigne Surrau is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque and sunny countryside of Sardinia. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Vermentino with aperitif or light dishes.
Tasting note
Brilliant, distinctive straw yellow. On the nose, a fine scent of acacia and white flowers, hints of minerality. Tightly woven on the palate, creamy and juicy with delicate acidity and cool minerality. An exceptionally elegant sarde with a cool, fruity aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Branu is ideal as an aperitif. It goes well with Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, fish dishes and typical Italian appetizers.
Vinification
The grapes come from vineyards in Chilvagghja (Arzachena). Fermentation and aging exclusively in steel tanks.
