Bio
Tasting note
Bright ruby red with garnet hues. With increasing contact with the air, the rich bouquet gains additional depth, with compotes, ripe fruits and subtle notes of licorice in the foreground. Powerful and rich on the palate, tart but without rigor, on firm tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Brunello di Montalcino DOCG goes well with pasta, pizza and beef.
Vinification
After a long fermentation period, the wine matures for three years in oak barrels of various sizes. This is followed by two more years of bottle maturation before the wine is released for sale.
