About the wine
The idea of Bodega y Viñedos Maires was born in 2015 when two cousins joined forces with the aim of resuming the activities of their ancestors and thus to be present in the Toro appellation of origin. Under the name MAIRES, a family nickname that refers to four generations of winemaking, Fernando and Pablo are merging their professions with the dream of bringing about a new way of understanding wine: viticulture and communication #comunicavino.

Tasting note
Deep ruby red. An intense and aromatic nose of black cherries, wild berries and light roasted aromas (vanilla, coffee, tobacco), thyme and a slight balsamic touch. On the palate, full-bodied, dense wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, stew and with mature, not salty cheeses.

Steel tank, then 12 months in new French barriques
